Following an extensive period working in the insurance industry (22 years), Neil embarked on a career in fire safety consultancy in 2007 specialising in passive fire protection construction disputes in the PFI sector. Recently Neil has become more involved in external wall system reviews and manages the fire risk assessment service at Maze Fire.  Neil is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is a qualified expert witness with the Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence.
