Andrew has worked in fire engineering consultancy and the building regulatory sectors since 1990. His expertise centres on providing engineered strategies and solutions for a large range of building and infrastructure projects. Andrew often assists in legal cases, as an Advisory Expert or Expert Witness, where compliance in respect to fire safety and the applicable legislation is brought into question. Andrew is currently acting for a number of clients in major contractual disputes regarding regulatory compliance and fire engineering. Andrew’s expert witness experience extends to giving evidence in the High Court (TCC), preparing joint statements, chairing expert meetings and preparing expert reports. Andrew has previously been a full member of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee that advises the Secretary of State on changes to the Building Regulations.
