Dermot joined Maze Fire Consulting in 2022 as a founding member, holding the position of Principal Consultant and General Manager of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) entity. He brings over 20 years of experience delivering fire engineering and fire life safety solutions across complex projects in the Middle East, the UK, and Ireland, and is currently based in the Middle East. His experience spans both the design and fire safety management of buildings and sites, providing him with a strong understanding of Middle East Civil Defence requirements, operational fire safety, and performance based design. Dermot is highly experienced in applying Middle East Civil Defence regulations alongside international codes and standards, across a wide range of project types.
